Subject: Headlight relay setup not working in 89 Westy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I attempted to install a headlight relay kit in my 89 Westy. I'm attempting to upgrade to brighter bulbs and bought a relay kit from a reputable dealer. I followed the instructions without problems until I got to the part where I have to access wires exiting the ignition. Both the kit's instructions and those I found at Frank Condeli's website tell me to splice and reroute yellow and white 12 gauge wires that exit the ignition. Unfortunately, the only 12 gauge wires exiting the ignition are red and black. No yellow or white. I attempted to use the red and black wires but without success. I'm not an electrician. I need specific instructions that work. Can anyone help?
