FWIW, the Reno, Aspen, Sydney, Orlando, Miami all fit in MY vanagon with it's DIN Normal HxW. The limiting factor is not the ashtray which doesn't interfere with the radio chassis at all. The limiting factor is the depth of the radio and how it will fit into the rear hanger/support. I have an Orlando/Miami CD72 in there now with a MPD01 microdisk mp3 changer that will hold several days of music on a 4.0GB device. The orlando has two external aux inputs one configured for the CDC protocol and the other simply a common ground audio input suitable for a SIRIUS or XM radio. Fits fine lasts a long time wont warp peel rot or stink up your car. Any MP series Blaublaup will play mp3 directly from the CD as FAT32 file system with tags, labels and so forth. In the group are the Sacramento the MP3000 and the Los Angeles MP71, there are others. The Orlando doesn't play MP3 directly from the CD but will play MP3 from the MPD01 until copper ceases to conduct or your battery runs down.

ANY CDC head unit will run the MPD01 but some have tag and title support some don't.
