Speaking of pocket digitals, I just bought one of the Sony Cybershot U30's it is so small it is like a spy camera, 2MP is fine for me, and the picture quality is pretty good. If your interested in going uber-small this is the way to go. Jerry

I have TWO dead digitals... both 1.3mpx, but really, that's all you need... still better than screen or commercial printing resolution. One's a Sony Mavica FD-88 which went the way of all floppy-cameras... the floppy drive died. Replaced it with a basic Olympus... dropped this teice from my shirt pocket... and it died... circuitry problem.

I'm replacing THAT with an 8mpx Konica-Minolta for my work on fossils etc, but will probably get another "pocket edition" to keep with me at all times, in case I see a really nice modified Hiace... -- Andrew Grebneff Dunedin New Zealand <andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut
