You've certainly worded that like a politician. If you have read Larry's last two postings I think you'll see the wisdom of what I said; "Go Home Larry". It's time to regroup in your own safe territory so you don't become the victim of various repair and parts specialist that in most cases aren't qualified to repair a Wasser Boxer engine. Loading that Syncro on a car hauler or up behind a rented truck on a trailer are far less expensive than the financial beating you can take when you're not on your own turf. I can visualize a trickle in of the various donated repair parts to his Phoenix base of operations and the proper patient restoration of his current engine or the implant of a suitable substitute. When his repair or recovery procedures reach some level of sanity he'll be ready to continue his voyages. Sticking a get by engine in his Syncro isn't a fix, it's a mistake. Sticking a complete engine in if he doesn't actually need the whole engine is a mistake. I think you'll prove my statement true just like all the other would be Magellans: I've always said "Expect to spend as much on repairs, parts and maintenance as you paid for the vehicle within the first year of ownership".
