Hey there ! It´s not the year of birth that determins how old you are, it´s the state of mind ! I´m a member of a Mailinglist here in Sweden regarding Suzuki Samurai and at 48 i could be dad or grandad to almost all of them - well ok maybe not grandad, I think the youngest are 15 or so - but anyway These kids use their Sammys to bash around in sandpits and mudholes and I sometimes join - to be the bystander whose truck is the one to tow the wrecks away :-) I´m too lazy to lie on my back in the mud trying to fix a broken 4X4 but we all enjoy the difference in age and someone has to be the bearer of WISDOM and resposibility, the things that comes with age and is respected ! And the good thing with the Vanagon is that you never have to show muscle, we´re all regarded as maniacs when snailing around in these antiquities anyway
