Doug,
I have used speedbleeders on my vanagon and I am
not sure why they wrenched them English. They worked
fine on my vanagon but a word of caution on other
cars.
The one's on the rear 98 passat could not be tighened
tight enough to stop the very slow leak that I was
unknowingly driving around for several weeks. The
fit allowed a leak that was so slow you were hard
pressed to notice it. Heads up on speedbleeders.
