Not mine, the seller’s name is John. I posted about this van a month ago when I saw it on a lot. The guy who bought it is now advertising it in the local trader:

1989 Vanagon Westfalia Wolfsburg Van, AT, AC, PS, PW, P/mirrors, CC table, EC, everything works except trans slips, priced at less than half book value, 1st $1800 OBO takes; 804-740-3022

This is a 7-passenger (folding bed with jumpseats) hardtop van, dark blue with alloys, with the nifty diagonal-stripe cloth interior in VGC. I’ve spoken with the seller and he says he’s installed a new battery, new tires, cleaned the interior (the carpets needed it, the seats did not) and repaired the cracked bumper covers and repaired a badly-Bondoed spot on the left rear corner. He had planned when he bought it to strip it for parts and junk the remainder, but has since decided that it’s way too nice a van for that. He has two Vanagons, only has room to keep one, and would like for this one to go to someone who will drive it and use it.

Someone please buy this thing.
