Subject: Hall Sender
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi everybody I have some problem to start my Westy when the motor is hot ( I wrote some Email about it few days ago). From all the replies I got, I suspect the Hall sender. I have noticed that the small plastic connector is loose. Is it possible to have spark and no injectors pulsing when the Hall sender is defective? I many attemps to start the motor, I didn't smell any gas odor. So once the distributor cap, the rotor and the dust cover are removed, how do you removed the distributor shaft to get access to the hall sender? (I am not talking about the distributor drive shaft which is attached to the motor, I think).

Germain
