Ok.. 28 years young.. I always liked Vanagons and always wanted a Westy, but my 1st VW was a 97 Jetta liked it but not the payments sold it and found my 2rd VW a 91 Vanagon in Albany NY while I was working over there. For some reason I took a back street and there she was sitting there on a small used car lot. I stopped and took a look and she was in great condition. No rust, Dents or anything and with only 45,000 miles on it. I asked the sales guy if I could take it for a ride and he thought I was joking.. he said "you want to drive that thing?" I took it for a drive and although it wasn't a Westy I fell in love.. paid $4,000 and put 65,000 miles on it before it needed any work. She isn't a daily driver any more and now more of a project and camping vehicle. This list has helped me over the past few years.. Thanks to all that have helped me along the way..
