"I'm seeking the collective knowledge of the list on AAA roadside assistance memberships."

I don't know the details - the wife handles all that stuff and, incidentally, she was really "upset" when her personal AAA membership of 11 years was switched to my name when we got married - but that was 22 years ago and hopefully she's past that.

We have the good coverage - you should consult your local AAA office for your particular details as suggested in posts previous.

Overall, as far as I'm concerned, the AAA service has been very satisfactory - timely and courteous. Not only has it been used for our very tempermental 80 vanagon at least 5 times - all beyond the normal "free" distance - but it's been used several times for our afterthought 17 year old who seems to think that local roads are a spin off of the destruction derby at the county fair "The Calaveras County Frog Jump" coming up this weekend. These are all within the past two years. His going to college in Boston next fall is a welcome change - we'll miss him but - public transportation only! YEAH!! He can't wreck the Green Line, can he?
