Subject: Clutch pedal stuck
Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Yesterday, the clutch pedal on my 87 GL Wolfsburg got stuck half way up. I could still depress it and change gears, but there was slippage at the clutch. When I forced it back up by hand, it wouldn't give at first and then it came up to the full height after what felt like metal scraping against metal. It happened a few times more since then. Now the pedal travels the full length as before, but I can feel slight drag/scrape half-way of its travel. Has anyone had this happen? I consulted the Bentley manual and visually checked the system but found no obvious defect. Thanks.
