Subject: 2nd clue: windshield wiper switch problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

As I posted 2 days ago, my van's windshield wipers sometimes work and some times dont. I tried fiddleing with the column seitch (blew air in & tried sandpaper) but it still wont work.

I ran an errand today and I left the switch in the "intermitent" position to see if a bump in the road would cause it turn on. NO.

BUT!!! When I turned on the headlights, the wiper went ON. It worked in all positions. Turn head lights OFF and no wiper motor!!.. Headlights ON, Wiper motor ON.

Can anyone use this 2nd clue to suggest a solution to the problem? Thanks, Malcolm (Not much of an electrician)
