Hi gang, 57---but perhaps in better shape than my Westies. My wife (a very pretty 45-year-old) and I bought our first Westy (an '88) in 1991. We've taken it on ski, kayak, diving and bodysurfing adventures all over the western US, western Canada and Baja California. We bought a second Westy (an '87) in 2002, so that we would always have at least one in good shape for traveling. Between trips, we are lucky to call stunning Lake Tahoe (in northern California) our home. We'd love to meet more of you who are out there on the list. If you live within 150 miles of us (or if you are traveling through our area), we hope you'll get in touch. Maybe we can have you over for a meal---or offer you a place to spend the night. Maybe we can even go adventuring together! Thanks to everyone for all the help your posts have given us. Long live the Vanagon list! Lee & Irasema
