Subject: Running hot in traffic,
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi Everyone, Well the higher temps have finally made it to the north country. Yesterday it was about 85f out and I got stuck in traffic. I noticed after the van warmed up which took a little longer then normal it was running at just above the LED. Then when I got stuck in traffic it started really climbing and at alittle above the 3/4 mark the fan kicked in but did not really bring the temp down. I kicked on the heat and it brought the temps down. I have searched the archives but have come up with conflicting info on what to check first. Also when is the fan supposed to kick on? Just above the LED or at 3/4. The van has no leaks and has been holding coolant since march when I had a hose leak. Any guesses where to start?
