OK My shot in the dark.
Check to see if something conductive  hasn't fallen down on top of the
connectors of your fuse panel.(the screw or a washer from your instrument
pods)
You should be able to just drop the panel by removing the two screws if
you've got an 80-85. Not sure about the later fuse panels.
