Hello one and all:

Please excuse the personal plug. As the subjectline says, I have this 88
Westy for sale. It had a mild hit in the front above the bumper line. Front bumper
is history. Rears is OK. Rear hatch has small dent. Rest of body not bad.
Bought it to restore but have too many projects to deal with it at this time.
Have to sell within the week or I will just have it fixed. Runs fair but
definitely needs and exhaust and catalytic converter. The engine has 205,000 miles on
it so will probably need an overhaul soon. I do not see any headgasket leaks.
Interior looks dirty but it is all there. Cracked windshield. Radio missing.
Complete galley and camper interior. Two Michelin Agilis tires on rear but
needs tires in front. Steel rims with hubcaps. Manual mirrors. Manual windows.
Wing windows and headlights broken but will replace those two items myself before
selling. Yakima rack bolted to poptop. AC but have not checked if it works.

Anyway, I was going to convert to inline-4 or Subie engine and possibly to
Syncro. Today I realized I am up to 19 vehicles before I take this convertible
Ghia home. Time to get rid of some cars.

Vanagon trades considered. Will be on ebay with $3500 reserve if no takers by
Monday, May 17, 2004.
