His '88GL was loaded with kids and stuff for a weeklong stay at the beach. It was their annual family trek. After the '88 pooped out on the road, he had it towed to the nearest VW dealer; after hearing the diagnosis, he looked at the lot, pointed to the '91 and started loading it up...the salesman was VERY HAPPY to deal! AND as a very busy partner in a very busy law firm, he was more than glad to get back on the road and put miles behind him with his family. Sometimes (very often to some) money is not the measure of the worth of an object. Stephen Chillicothe OH
