The dealership I bought mine from typically added pinstripes to vehicles. I never asked whether the pinstriping on mine was factory or dealer; I suspect it was the dealer. If I ever repaint the whole van I probably won't put it back. It's really beginning to show the age now. (Mine's an 87.)

Hi all,

Does anyone know if any 88-91 Wolfsburg or Carat models had factory pin stripping above the "indented channel" running the length of the body. They seam to be somehow graded from thin to thick. I am curious to know was this may tell me if the van I am looking at has been painted or not. I just don't recall this pin striping before.... Thanks.
