Subject: broken down, NW us; wtb 1.6L TD engine
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Well, my vanagon's engine has been on it's last set of legs for awhile now, I was hoping to make it through the summer by not pushing the engine (ex: 50mph max), but it looks like I didn't suceed and it is time for a new engine. It just blew another oil seal, and the headgasket is leaking a bit, so I think my best bet is to go for the upgrade to td that has been on my wish list.

Any leads on a reasonably priced TD from a jetta or Quantum would be greatly appreciated, ecodiesel is ok... I am in NW Washington state, but could possibly travel or pay to ship it if the price is cheap enough.

Thanks! please send me an email: purvisgs@yahoo.com Greg
