Subject: Re: Lowering '85 Westfalia
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

The cheapest way to lower your front without cuttiing is to replace the taller '85 Springs with a pair from a 80-84.

I went just the opposite direction with my '82 Westfalia- I went to the '85 Westy springs to gain 2" ground clearance. My Westy was formerly a Diesel, and my front end was low. I go on backroads a lot and wanted more clearance.

List, Please . . . want to lower a couple of inches . . . could heat springs, but would make ride harsh . . . could use steering knuckles from later years, if I could find them . . . open to any and all suggestions . . . sure you will come thru . . . thanks jack8trop Jack Reynolds Ormond Beach
