I should have mentioned - I don't use Verizon email, and I do dial into my typical ISP. LOng distance, too - of course that doesn't matter with the cellphone since on their plan you can call anywhere. It's worked fine anywhere. You'll have to pay for an ISP anyway, email's not included in your cellphone service, so no need to get verizon. It is faster with their digital service, but I'm willing to put up with that. I haven't had trouble uploading to my website, including photos- but I don't download large PDFs from the web with it, that would be too tedious.
