Subject: AAA+ or AARP or USAA?

Sorry to prolong this thread, but someone recently mentioned they had USAA Roadside Assist coverage but it was limited to 15 miles. I have read my policy and can find no mileage limit, only: "If the vehicle will not run, it (the coverage) pays for towing to the nearest qualified repair facility." Just got off the phone with a company rep, explaining to her about VW Vanagons (req'd. VC). She said if the nearest shop says they can't work on it, they will tow to the nearest QUALIFIED shop, 50, 100 miles, whatever. Not wanting to put them to the test, but has any Vanagon owning USAA member had actual experience with the roadside assist program? Thanks, Jerry
