Hi folks !
Hmm, I wonder if I dare........
Well, Iīll try, itīs kinda political but non US ;-)
The Swedish head of state Goran Persson was visiting the White House and
after a good dinner George Bush said:
"Well Goran, I don't know what you think of the members of your cabinet,
but mine are all bright and brilliant."
"How do you know?" Goran asks.
"Oh it's simple. They all have to take special test before they can be
minister. Wait a second"
Bush is waving at Colin Powell and asks him :
"Tell me Colin, who is the child of your mother and father but not your
brother or sister?"
"Ah that's simple, Mr President", Powell sais, "It's me!"
"Well done, Colin", Bush said and Mr Persson was really impressed .
After getting back home Goran Persson thinks about the intelligens of his
own government and decides to make the same test.
He asks the minister of finance Bosse Ringholm to come and join him and asks
:
"Tell me Bosse, whoīs the child of your parents - but not your brother or
your sister ?"
Ringholmīs considering the question but cant come up with an answer right
away.
"May I have some time to think about it ?" - he asks.
"OK, youīll have 48 hours"
So Ringholm goes back to his office and asks all of his co-workers but
nobody knows the answer
More and more stressed up he continues to call other ministers until he
finally gets in touch with Leif Pagrotsky
"Leif, Iīm in trouble, Goran has given me one of those trick questions and I
donīt know the answer !
Iīm getting worried about my job here "
"Hey, calm down and Iīll try to help you" sais Leif Pagrotsky
"Whatīs the question ?"
" Whoīs the child of your parents but not your brother or sister ?"
" But thatīs simple" Leif sais - " Itīs me "
"Off course, how stupid of me " Ringholm sais, rushes over to Goran Perssons
office and sits down in the visitors chair
"OK boss, Iīve got the answer" he sais happily
"Itīs Leif Pagrotsky "
Goran Persson looks at him, shakes his head and looks sadly at his Minister
"Sorry old friend but thats not the right answer"
Bosse Ringholm blushes, shuffels his feet a little and asks
"Itīs what weīve come up with......what is the correct answer then?? "
" Itīs Colin Powell"
