While shopping at Home depot one of their lumber carts rolled into my passenger door while I was parking and dented it. Not badly at all just under the door handle and below the gasoline refill port. Easy to fix I think but the auto body place wants $1,900 for the job. That seems like a rip off but Home depot is going to pay for it. I'm going to fix it myself and keep the money. I've done some body work before but my heart just sunk when I saw the damage. I'll have to drill out the rivets on the window lock mechanism in order to access the dent to pound it out and then rivet it back in or just bolt it back. Any advice? William |
