ATF is basically a 10W motor oil. Adding a quart of either this or MMO to a tank of fuel has the same effects on the catalytic converter as having an engine burn a quart of oil in the same time period. IT also helps to destroy the O2 sensor. Would you add Diesel fuel to the gas? The Techron is probably the best stuff out there for removing carbon from the fuel injectors and intake valve area. Keep in mind that excessive use of this will dilute the engine oil. Has anyone tried this or even heard of it? John Meeks '91 multivan (White Lightning) Vanagon Rescue Squad http://www.vanagonauts.com/?catid=74 |
