I'm not at all disappointed to hear that the Microbus is dead. it was ugly. Yes, it had some cool features, and in the end, that is the point of concept vehicles to introduce new features. The split window buses had charm and were vaguely airplane fuselage like in appearence. I never liked the bay window. I love the Vanagon's look. The T3/T4/T5 all look just like any other minivan (on the outside at least). The Microbus concept certainly had character. But it deserves to be in some Japanimation, not on the streets. |
