The steel bars are there to hold the wood map box thingy in place. I scabbed them onto the jumpseat brackets with longer bolts. Also..... Griot's Garage sells neat cupholders that hold the monster cups (up to a point) and there are two of those on the front of the map box, so we can drink a ton of coke and then have to pee.
