if you want to argue that point, you can also argue why didn't vw put 3 point shoulderharnesses in ALL vanagons, when clearly they were ALL made to accept the 3 pt shoulderharnesses.. thats one thing i never understood..
Chris, Could that have had more to do with your local rules and/or a unilateral decision by VW of Nth America? On the other side of the planet,all T3s sold here in Oz..except for panel vans and obviously single cabs,had rear passenger 3 point(lap/sash)seatbelts fitted...except for the middle lap belt anyway....
