jeff, you dont need those brackets welded to the floor of the van. you have a plywood subfloor in your westy, all you do is drill 2 correspondiong holes in the plywood, and insert brass plumbing fitting cups. thats what people do when installing these jumpseats in their westys. the metal plumbing fitting cups will hold the 2 nibs on the jumpseat base.
