I agree with the others. In my case I had the gas smell by the rear passenger tire. It was a small leak where the fuel line goes through the "fire wall". I was near impossible to find, because if I shut the bus down and then got under the bus to find the leak there was no sign of the leak because the gasoline from the leak evaporated quickly. When I looked underneat with the bus running, AH HA! a nice stream of gasoline.

Good luck. And remember in many spots you need to replace fuel line with high pressure fuel injection fuel line. The vents over the gas tank are regular fuel line as they are not under pressure. But if I had mine to do over again I'd use the pricey fule injection line for the vents too, as the fabric coated low pressure line has dried out after only three year. Time to drop my tank again. Argh!
