This is not really much of a comparison because, as you noted, the efficacy of a lamp (especially an incandescent) diminishes with age. Comparing the manufacturer's intensity mappings of the two lamps might prove helpful, although the pyschovisual response illicited by the spectrum of each lamp is altogether another matter.
