Subject: Cooling Light Q?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

My cooling has been coming on frequently lately. As the engine warms up I have no warning light but after about 10 minutes of driving it begins flashing.

I have checked the over flow under the license plate and it has plenty of fluid. The reserve tank (requires removing the engine cover for access) was above the minimum mark. I released a fair amount of air pressure from the overflow tank when I unscrewed the lid.

I have also noticed that I have been losing cooling fluid as I have had to add water a few times over the past few weeks. Recently I let the motor sit for a week without running didn't lose any fluid. So I am assuming it is only during driving that I am seeing issues.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Chris '89 Westy
