No, Doug. Even with the front wheels shackled to a tow dolly the driveshaft is spinning like crazy. At some point, the VC will start to smell like an XKE automatic transmission which just saw 150 MPH.

If stranded would you have to remove the drive shaft? >>

Yes, or tow it on a trailer or a rollback.
