I agree with you Steve. When I visited Wilhelmshaven, Germany in the Navy, I went where ever I wanted to on a train! I never enjoyed traveling around as much as I did there. I wished for the same convenience back home but alas, the Golden Rule applies. Those with the gold (the automakers) killed mass transit to sell more cars. Very few cities have trolly cars anymore. And going on a trip by train in this country isn't very practical. You might as well drive, which is what the automakers want you to do! TEMiller
