lots of people jump off the golden gate bridge. some of them survive. would you jump after them? i am not willing to experience the thrill w/o a bungee cord.

will you stand by the guy who did not weld his floor mounts if injury was attributed to his faulty installation of a jumpseat?

weld, screw, rivet. IMHO, all of the above exceeds the safety margin of brass cups in wood.

my loved ones are worth the trouble.
