Dealing with it now. I thought I had the classic symptoms of broken
wiring, but like you I can hear a click when the switch is moved (in my
case the drivers side works fine, only the passenger side window isn't
working). It's a pretty simple electrical circuit, if there is power at
the switch (on the appropriate side) then there almost certainly should
be power to the motor. Which leaves a possible dead motor as the
culprit.

Since i was SURE, it was the wiring, I disassembled my drivers side
door to look at the wiring. Oh, well. At least I fixed my power mirrors
in the process.

Tomorow I'll take a look at pulling the motor on the passenger door and
see what gives. At least my AC works.
