Chris,

What is the purpose of this tune up? I've got high mileage but I do not change the O2 sensor just because. Is you mileage dropping...etc? If there is a specific problem chase it!! Other than that; save your money for the new engine. I'd go with plugs, cap, rotor, filters, oil, and maybe wires.

What items are typically serviced during a high mileage tune-up besides the following? I have heard there are some non-typical adjustments (computer related perhaps) that the better more experienced mechanics perform. Any experience with this?

a.. Oil & filter b.. Plugs & wires c.. Cap & rotor d.. Timing adjustment e.. Coolant & thermostat f.. Fuel filter g.. Air filter h.. O2 Sensor Thanks, Chris '89 Westy
