That was my experience until yesterday. The Windshield I pulled outa the Carat was definitely glued in. What a PITA. Spent a lot of time cleaning up the area. Then due to the rusting on the lower left hand corer, (Why do all Vanagons rust is this corner ?) had to wire brush, and prep for POR-15 application. So it had to sit overnight and I will install the windshield today using liberal amounts of Krown.
