Folks,

My wife and i finally managed to travel to Lake Itasca state park to see, among other things, the headwaters of the Mississippi.

Before that trip i decided to add an awning to the van. After asking folks on the list and a couple of people i happened to meet i decided on a Fiamma F35 which i bought from Go Westy.

This is, without a doubt, the best investment i've ever made. It totally changes the "feel" when you're camped. Plus we got pounded with rain one afternoon, but instead of the usual mud puddle outside the sliding door we had a great big dry patch. When the winds died down and rain began to fall straight down we could even sit at the picnic table.
