Hybrids?  Are you kidding?  Now you have two drive trains to maintain.
The conventional gas or diesel system, and the electric one.  Such a
deal!  Can you imagine troubleshooting one of these cars?  And the
repair costs?  Nobody talks about that.  And the high income Hollywierd
types that promote them can easily afford them.
I'll take the Passat any day over any hybrid vehicle.  An alternative
fuel vehicle as well, way ahead of it's time.
