Shirley you jest.... ("Don't call me Shirley!")

Diesel Westy? The smallest diameter you can find. 26.5" springs to mind. Unless of course, you're replacing the motor with something a little more potent that the original 48 horsepower 1.6. LT195/75-14 will do in a pinch. Rubbing body or suspension parts/pieces will be the least of your worries. Getting across the intersection before the light changes will be more of a concern.

If you're adding some ponies, LT27x8.5-14 or visit TireRack.com and plug in the data. Bridgestone 603V, Yokohama Y356 and Michelin Agilis all come in the correct size/load range. <http://www.tirerack.com/tires/ Compare1.jsp?startIndex=0&vehicleSearch=true&width=185%2F&ratio=0&diamet er=14&sortCode=34200&minSpeedRating=R&ratio=&width=185%2F&diameter=14&mi nLoad=Reinforced&search=true&pagelen=20&pagenum=1&pagemark=1&manufacture r=Bridgestone&manufacturer=Michelin&manufacturer=Yokohama&x=13&y=5>

Have you driven this Westy yet?
