Subject: Ok Power Windows Solved I think... Need a power window relay..
              Anyone?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed

Hey all, Thanks everyone for the suggestions on troubleshooting the power windows.. after checking all of the switches and making sure there was continuity between the wires going through the doors... Everything checked out... So I finally decided to check out the relay... it was hot and smelled of burning.. so i pulled it... opened it up.. and when the relay part is pushed together... i only get continuity between terminals 30 and 87 and not on any of the other terminals. From looking at the bentley i should get continuity between terminals 85 and 87 as well when the relay is engaged. Is this write? Since the wiring all checks out ok.. the relay must be it. It would make sense since both windows stopped working at the same time and there are no blown fuses. IS there anyone that can confirm what i am thinking is right? And if it is.. anyone have a good relay to sell? IT's relay number 24. thanks all and so does my wife sweating in the van because the windows won't go down!!! later, jess 89 carat
