ive had the best luck with aviation form a gasket on all my air cooled vws. always use sparingly to not let to much seep to the inside and plug up any oil passages. you can get it from any FLAPS. c-ya Jonce >So it looks like replacing the rear main seal didn't stop my oil leak.
