Subject: swivel seat ques
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

hey all, by now most of you are aware that i just "finished" restoring an 87 syncro westy from pretty much scratch. well, the swivel seat bases came from an 85 westy, the captain chairs came from an 87 wolfs. heres the thing. i have to open either drivers or passengers door, plus slide the seat foward in order to get them to spin all the way around. is this normal? or do i have the swivels reversed. it seems to me that the bases are identical. i am positive i have the seats in the right order, not that it would matter i think. reason i am asking is because i used to have an 82 westy and i don't recall having to open the doors in order to get them to swivel, i do remember having to slide them forward though. any thoughts here TIA jason 87 syncro westy
