Just a quick follow-up on this topic:

I was just told by somebody who should know that if you get the "Wal-Mart" edition of the Rand McNally Road Atlas (the one that they sell at Wal-Mart for under $5), it includes a Wal-Mart stores list.

This person said that, almost without exception, if a Wal-Mart sells RV Accessories (it's one of the categories marked in the Store list), they allow overnight parking. I have not confirmed this personally, but it seems to make some sense.
