Hi Volks,

For a long time I've been thinking about building the
digitool or something similar, to try and track down
intermittent problems with my engine.
Problem is I don't want to touch the ECU (i.e. connect
the 25 pin flat cable) because I don't have a spare.
Can anyone recommend (I can't seem to get hold of
Darrell Boehler, the digitool inventor) where can the
same sampling points be found conveniently, without
tampering the wiring harness?

Alternatively, I'd like to directly monitor, i.e.
permanently connect LED's directly at the proper
"digital" sampling points (e.g. Coil 12V terminals,
injectors, etc., just like the digitool does), as well
as attach test points for a DVM at the analog signals.
Anybody already done that and can give
recommendations, to save me trial and error rounds?...
