My parents bought a new '69 Westfalia in Germany drove it around for 3 months, then shipped it back to the SF bay area. I drove it more than them in '69-'70( still in high school-- before I went off to college in fall of '70) I used that gas heater a lot ! for quick van interior warm ups and especially snow camping in Yosemite and ski trips to the Sierras.
