You should remove your van from that shop and take it to a independent VW
shop where you can watch the test being done, none of the baloney our insurance
wont allow you to watch in our work area  !!!   .// If you have only 85 lbs
you have major valve leakage, worn pistons, cylinders and rings // possible
loose heads // with only 85 lbs. you would have very poor performance // make sure
the engine  is run for 10 minutes before running compression check //  If
actually that low have the shop run a air test to pin point the exact problem .//
