I've seen several lawn sprinkler companies and a TV Dish installer using the Sprinter utility vans. Having some experience with trucks that fall into the 'commercial' class, I can tell you that most aren't fun to drive. I think I saw an Airstream Conversion on one but I can't swear that it wasn't a Mercedes.

I think the thing that makes the Sprinter a worthy contender is the Mercedes 5 cylinder, turbo diesel that moves it along to the tune of 22mpg. But I really like my Vanagon, so I'll be keeping it a while. > > > > I parked next to a Sprinter one day with my Westy.
