Well folks, I have decided to sell my 85 vanagon, As i found an 80 camper (needs engine) I will be using the funds to purchase the rebuild parts for the 80. Details are as follows:

85 vanagon

1.9 motor (heads have slight drip in the cold weather) fresh installed used tranny with 122,000 on it new clutch new exhaust good tires very little rust for being a midwest van new ignition coil Needs: eventual head gasket job (car does not overheat, doesnt burn coolant, and i have found no coolant in the oil) one leaky pushrod tube Passenger side has crunch in front end Rear most seat back has been removed, but i do have it a/c is not functional (hoses removed) but still have the compressor needs new front grill put on (comes with the deal)

this would be a good resto canidate, or a great parts car. Everythings there, It runs, and drives....But its got to go....Im asking $800 for it. If anyones interested, Pmail me, and we can set something up...Im located in Mpls, MN. -Erin Randolph
